Adult Mental Health Events

Jami are accredited providers of Adult Mental Health First Aid. This internationally recognised training course is the gold standard in equipping you with skills you can use as a ‘first aid response’ to help someone in distress.

Come and join us to learn more about a variety of mental health problems, the course will cover:
• An in-depth understanding of mental health and the factors that can affect
wellbeing
• Practical skills to spot the triggers and signs of mental health issues
• Confidence to step in, reassure and support a person in distress
• Enhanced interpersonal skills such as non-judgemental listening
• Knowledge to help someone recover their health by guiding them to further
support

Doors open and refreshments from 6.45pm, course starts promptly at 7pm.

Please note: to receive accreditation, it is mandatory to attend all four sessions.
