22nd May - Rachel Fink
Rachel was appointed Headteacher of JFS in June 2018. Prior to this, she had been Headteacher of Hasmonean High School (Girls). She is a graduate of both the Ashdown Fellowship and Bradfield Women’s Programmes. She has taken a lead role in supporting the
development of Mental Health and Wellbeing in Jewish Schools.

30th May – Lady Nicola Mendelsohn CBE
Lady Nicola Mendelsohn CBE has been active in the advertising industry since 1992, and has been Vice-President for EMEA for Facebook since June 2013. She is also a non-executive director of Diageo. The Daily Telegraph has called her “the most powerful woman in the British tech industry”.

5th June - Daniela Pears
Daniela qualified as a chartered physiotherapist and volunteers for Jewish Care. Between 2014-2015, Daniela was appointed Mayoress of Camden. Since 2016 Daniela has run a ladies lunch committee for JAMI, and partners with UJS to help support our Jewish students campus. Daniela launched ‘We Go Together’, a match matching service in 2017.

3rd July - Marie van der Zyl
Marie van der Zyl was elected President of the Board of Deputies of British Jews in May 2018.
In the past three years she has played a crucial part in the fight against antisemitism in the Labour Party. Marie was at the forefront of the campaign against the so-called “cab-rank” policy, by which the Inner North London Coroner delayed the release of bodies to Jewish families.

10th July - Eva Greenspan
Eva is a well-known real estate lawyer advising on commercial and substantial residential
transactions for individuals and corporate investors and joined Quastels in 2009. Eva is the former Mayor of the London Borough of Barnet, and remains today the Chairman of the Planning and Environment Committee of the London Borough of Barnet.
