Armistice Series

We are delighted to offer this series of seven lectures, honouring Jewish service at home and overseas during the First World War. This was one of the first times in history that Jewish soldiers, as patriots or conscripts confronted each other on the battlefield. We will look at the attitudes of civilians, fighting men and religious leaders as well as a couple of notable Jewish wartime identities.

Our presenters are Jeremy Mindell, Rabbi Jeremy Lawrence, Rabbi Reuben Livingstone & Elkan Levy.
